Acid House Barcelona is teaming up with adidas Originals to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the adidas Superstar at the Window Gallery.  Staying true to the Superstar’s unrivaled heritage at the forefront of culture, throughout 2020 adidas Originals is harnessing the power of teamwork in a series of initiatives designed to create and inspire positive change. 

A meaningful magnetism

With long careers in the creation of installation pieces and interaction, Folch together with Raúl Nieves and David Haro has conceptualized and produced a kinetic installation, supported by an invisible and coordinated design of magnetic fields. Situated in the Window Gallery area of the newly launched creative hub, Acid House Barcelona, their award-winning technology uses a balance of different magnetic forces to create an effect where the Superstar product appears to be “floating” in the space. This unique display will be visible both day and night, enhanced by direct spotlighting from Barcelona based lighting designer, Protopixel, supported by art direction from Folch.
